Justin Hier

Justin is a third-year law student at Duke University School of Law. He is a South Florida native and proud alum of the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where he received his BBA in 2022. Justin has long had a passion for teaching, working as a part-time tutor in high school before taking on more extensive teaching roles as a TA for a variety of courses during his time at the University of Miami. His expertise is in English, writing, SAT/ACT, and professional development topics, including interview preparation and résumé and cover letter drafting.

He recently got married to his high school sweetheart, Julia, and the two plan to move back to the Miami area after finishing their graduate programs in North Carolina. Justin is an avid football fan, particularly of his hometown Miami Dolphins, and enjoys exercising and going out with friends.
